In India farmers are given the status of Father and Mother of the entire population. Farmers provide us with the most basic necessity, food. They remain close to nature and toil tirelessly so that they can harvest the best that nature has to offer and provide it all to the rest of humanity. Famo is coined and is symbolic of the same gesture, an ode to the Annadata.
What Famo stands for and its journey
The Journey
Despite being an accomplished person in the field of advertising with his own firm and patronage growing over the decade, Mr. Sunil Jadhav never stopped thinking about his hometown and the natural abundance it was blessed with. He wanted to set up a mechanism with which the people residing in his village were benefitted. With this thought of bringing all the hands to work and as a gratitude to nature, Famo was envisioned. Mrs. Rupali Jadhav, a manager in the R & D department of a reputed multinational pharmaceutical company, was too glad to be a part of this passionate endeavor. Famo today has become a bustling community in the beautiful village of Katroli, tucked in the beauty of Konkan belt. It is serving as a platform for women empowerment as well. The strict ethos of natural and organic produce has made everyone become more committed to this community. Apart from various Ayurvedic herbs, Famo specializes in extraction of essential oils. The foresight of Mr. Sunil Jadhav, is a reality to behold.

Sunil Jadhav
Founder & Managing Director
The brain behind the set up of Famo - natural goodness, he has over two decades in the field of advertising. Previously worked with a Pharmaceutical company and later set up his own firm, operational for over 16 years now. Famo was born out of his foresight and willingness to do something for his fellow villagers and nature. The imperative concerns of going 100% organic and to stimulate social and women empowerment were fulfilled because of his leadership skills and determination.
Rupali Jadhav
Managing Director
Worked as a Senior Manager in a reputed and multinational pharmaceutical R&D center for more than 10 years, the core area being the new product development from raw material to finished product. Her experience and acumen is influential in the processing and quality control of all the produce, especially essential oils. Her skills and the R&D background help maintain strict standards and quality control. She also has a lot of curiosity and proclivity towards nature.
Roshan Jadhav
Operations Head
He is best described as nature's aide. Brought up in the cozy warmth of natural wealth, he is a specialist in gauging and deciphering all the needs of land and plants. This is especially required when farming is carried out in a completely organic manner. Despite being the youngest, in his early twenties, his analytical skills and knowledge of farming and agriculture is quite unparalleled.

Famo has not achieved its glory only because of a few individuals, it has become a reality thanks to the efforts of many others as well. Here are just a select few that represent the larger community at Famo:
Vilas
The glue that keeps everyone together and looks after the cows and all their needs. Cows help with natural energy and fertilizers. His affinity towards animals and an extra eye to their needs make him a natural at this task.
Pradeep
He is mainly responsible for all the transportation facilities and looks after all the deliveries.
Why Is Famo Different?
We at Famo strive to abide by two principles: Organic produce and top-notch quality. To ensure that these principles are attained, our farms harbour many different and novel means of production.
Renewable Energy
We use renewable sources of energy, biogas and solar energy, and try to keep the carbon footprints in check.
Farm Animals are Unrestricted
We have an open cowshed, so that the cows are not restricted in any way. Cows at our facility are instrumental in generating biogas as well as providing us with natural fertilizer.
Automated Processing
We at famo want 100% quality and to control the same and avoid any human errors, we have completely automated systems of harnessing essential oils and generating biogas.
100% Organic
We use zero artificial chemicals for fertilizers or pesticides. Instead we use the best natural solution of jeevamrut, a fertilizer made with cow's dung and other 100% natural elements.
Source of Empowerment
Famo has served as a source of livelihood for many families. Women are an active part of the Famo community. The community has a great culture and believes in the motto of Natural Goodness.
